340 Miles for Access
On May 15th, FLYRS Executive Director Quinn Travis will take on the Pinyons and Pines Bikepacking Race—a grueling 340-mile self-supported ride across the stunning yet punishing terrain of the Northern Arizona Colorado Plateau. With 28,000 feet of climbing, this is no casual cruise. Quinn’s goal? Complete the route in under 45 hours--little to no sleep, just pure grit.
But this ride isn’t just about the miles. It’s about creating access. Every pedal stroke fuels our mission to get more kids on bikes--especially those from underrepresented communities.

Traditionally, FLYRS on average provides $40,000 a year in scholarships yearly to make our programs 100% accessible. This year, we’re pushing even harder—with a bold goal of $75,000 in scholarships. That’s where you come in.
