School Based Programs
Groups start the week of March 30!
FLYRS is proud to partner with local schools to offer mountain biking programs at school sites that remove barriers to riding and expand access for youth in our community.
These school-based programs provide bikes & helmets during practice and are designed for students who may not otherwise be able to participate in our traditional fee-based offerings.
This year, FLYRS programs will be available at Puente de Hózhó, Killip, Marshall, Cromer (NEW for 2026!), MEMS, and Summit High School. Registration for each school is available below. To help us keep these opportunities equitable and inclusive, please register only if you are not and cannot enroll in another FLYRS program.
We’re always excited to build new partnerships with schools that share our commitment to youth development through cycling. If your school is interested in hosting a program, please contact our Program Manager, Becca Somerville.

Mount Elden Middle school
The MEMS group works on building key bike handling skills while accessing some of Flagstaff's best trails and the FLYRS/Puente bike park. The park contains drops, skinnies, a pump track, skill zones and flow lines built by Flagline Trails & the FLYRS community. We make time for skill-related games and snacks while on trail, or before/after a trail ride.
Riders must be able to control their speed on hills and ride a minimum of 3 miles on singletrack bike trails. All skills will be assessed before riding the bike park (skill dependent).
