FLYRS POLICIES

At FLYRS, safety, access, and clarity are our top priorities. Below is an overview of our policies regarding air quality, weather,
make-up classes, and refunds for all programs, including seasonal programs and summer camps.

Air Quality (AQI) Policy

  • Practice will be canceled if the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaches 150 or higher, based on readings from AirNow.

  • Whenever possible, we will relocate practice to an area with better air quality.

  • All changes will be communicated by your head coach or Program Director.

Weather Policy

  • Practices are subject to weather and trail conditions.

  • Cancellations may occur due to:

    • Lightning in the area

    • Rain causing trail damage

    • Flash floods

    • Other unsafe conditions

Important: Many decisions are made at or near the start of practice due to changing conditions. Please monitor your email
or text messages and stay near the practice site in case of early cancellation.

Spring & Fall Programs

  • We offer one make-up class for any cancellations during the week of XX/XXX.

  • Additional make-ups are not available if more than one class is canceled.

Summer Camps

  • Due to the short duration of summer camps, make-up classes are not provided.

  • We always aim to hold classes, but safety is our top priority for riders and coaches.

Refund Policy

  • Early Cancellations

    • Requests must be submitted at least 10 days before the start of a program to hannah@flyrsaz.com.

    • Full refunds are provided minus any credit card processing fees.

  • Late Cancellations

    • Requests submitted less than 10 days before the program may receive partial refunds at the discretion of the Program Director, depending on program circumstances.

    • Typically, refunds will not exceed 50% of the registration fee.

    • In exceptional cases, fees may be applied to a future equivalent program if used within one year; otherwise, payments are forfeited.

Our Commitment
We will always do our best to hold practice and avoid cancellations, though the safety of our riders and coaches is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and support.
