Scholarships cover 100% of program fees.
Scholarships are awarded by the FLYRS scholarship committee.
Scholarships need to be submitted 3 days prior to the opening registration date of the program you are applying to in order to secure a spot. Scholarship applications will be accepted until program start but a spot cannot be guaranteed and is dependent upon availability.
You will be notified of the decision as soon as possible. In some cases, we may need to wait until the deadline to review applications.
If you don't receive a scholarship for the current program, we still may be able to help. We have payment plans available, and will give you preference for the next session.

FLYRS Scholarships

FLYRS is committed to increasing access to our programs for youth from diverse backgrounds and minimizing economic barriers to the sport of mountain biking. To that end, we reserve a certain number of scholarships for all of our programs. The number of scholarships we can provide is dependent on our scholarship fund each year and the generous donations of others.

In order to align with our mission, preference will be given to underrepresented groups in our sport, such as those in significant financial need, youth of color, and female applicants. However, we typically generate more scholarship opportunities than applicants so we encourage anyone whom might not otherwise register for a FLYRS program to apply.

Once your application has been reviewed by our scholarship committee, you will be notified within 7–10 days of submission. Please submit your scholarship application at least two weeks before registration opens to allow time for the committee to review your request, send you a scholarship code, and ensure you’re all set for registration.
